His expertise includes parking strategies, urban mobility management, mobility behaviour and human-centred approaches to transport systems. With a background in qualitative traffic sociology, he bridges practical urban mobility management with social and cultural perspectives on mobility and sustainable urban transport solutions. Since 2018, he has served as Editor-in-Chief of the annual publication of the Finnish Traffic and Transportation Planning Association.
