Increasing Digitalisation Awareness and Readiness of Estonian Communities

We are pleased to invite you to participate in our hybrid event on 24 April 2025 at AvaLinn Collaboration Hub in Tallinn or online.

The European Commission has launched a new initiative “Increase Digitalisation Awareness & Readiness of EU Communities”. The aim of this initiative is to support EU communities at the early stages or that have not yet begun their digital transformation journey by providing resources, best practices, and training to develop digital strategies.

FinEst Centre for Smart Cities hosts this hybrid session as a member of the Smart Communities Network: the network of networks endorsed by the European Commission, whose primary goal is to involve all EU local communities in the European green and digital transformation.

Please note that most presentations and discussions will be in Estonian. The schedule below indicates the language of the sessions. All times in the schedule are in local Tallinn time.

Please register to participate by April 17.

This session will be followed by three short online training sessions to engage with Estonian cities and local communities, introduce the practical tools to assess the digital maturity of the region and create a digital development roadmap to enhance the awareness and preparedness of communities in their digital and green transition journey.
