Workshop: Smart City Solution Ideas

Join us for the 5th round of the Smart City Challenge!

Please review the proposed solution ideas here (will be available after November 30).

During this workshop, the solution ideas will be introduced and explained in more detail. It will be the right place and time to find the right solution for your urban challenge, and start forming initial teams with researchers and entrepreneurs to prepare a pilot project proposal.

Tallinn University of Technology (Ehitajate tee 5, Tallinn, room tbc) & Online via Zoom.

You’ll receive the Zoom link with a calendar invitation after you’ve registered.

Please register by December 4.

What to know about submitting the pilot project proposal?

Please submit your proposal by February 28, 2026, to smartcity@taltech.ee.

Each pilot proposal must include:

  • A research and development team, and

  • At least two cities: one from Estonia and one from outside of Estonia.

Please use the provided template (will be available after November 30) to prepare your pilot project proposal, keeping it within a maximum of 6 pages.
