Next steps

Now it’s time to identify the most suitable solution for your city’s challenge and begin forming initial teams to prepare the pilot project proposal, due on 27 February 2026 at smartcity@taltech.ee.

Each proposal should involve a research and development team and at least two cities: one from Estonia and one from another country. Please use the provided template to structure your pilot project proposal and keep the document within a maximum of six pages.

If you’re a researcher from another university and proposed solution idea then contact a researcher or research team from Tallinn University of Technology (TalTech) to develop it together.
